Planning, Scheduling & Project Controls Advanced Training for STO addresses key areas of Shutdowns, Turnarounds & Outages from years of international, lessons-learned and proven best-practice methodologies to enhance event outcomes.
Students will learn from one of the best in the business how to establish an optimized scope of work & budget for a STO event with a formal RBSR (Risk-based Scope Review) and Workscope/Budget Calculator Tool (provided); participate in Strategic Planning Workshops with a formal template; participate in effective Work Package Planning & Estimating (with emphasis on PF – Productivity Factor calculations) in preparation for DSM (Dynamic Scheduling Methodology) with Primavera™ P6 (computers & program provided) and DEM (Dynamic Execution Management) and a War Room Concept of Driving & Navigating the Execution Phase of a STO Event to meet or exceed the established KPI&Ts (Key Performance Indicators & Targets): Safety, Quality, Wrench-time Efficiency, Cost and Daily Production Loss (schedule timeline).

EJ (Ted) Lister is an internationally recognized innovative leader and sought-after keynote speaker and trainer; author of several books and manuals relevant to STOp-events and Primavera™ P6 for Planning, Scheduling and Project Controls. Ted is a gifted, patient and enthusiastic communicator and people-person.
Ted has more than 30 years of combined experience—from the field, the war-room and the boardroom. He is a certified Red Seal Electrician and Instrumentation Technologist; a Qualified Planner/Scheduler and Project Controls Specialist.
